Structures of the Eye

Oblique view and cutaway

Illustration of the internal and external structures of the eye.

Client: Michael Corrin

Format: Textbook Illustration

Programs: Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

The purpose of this project was to research, design, and develop an anatomically accurate illustration of a chosen piece of anatomy with a cutaway. The challenge was in representing it from an unconventional view.

Using measurements from Baraja’s Atlas of the Human Eye, I created a vector outline of an eye, that, using the lathe function in Cinema 4D, was turned into a simple maquette.
